Josh and Melissa Huff are the husband-and-wife team behind Lighthouse Storage Solutions, a firm that helps self-storage businesses grow through audits, consulting, third party management, training, drone photography, and marketing. Melissa, Co-Owner and COO, leads operations with nearly two decades in the industry. Josh, Co-Owner and CEO, leads marketing and technology with 18 years of marketing experience. Together they co-host the Gabfocus Self Storage Podcast, write for Modern Storage Media and Inside Self Storage, and co-lead the Management Mastery Workshop at the Inside Self-Storage World Expo.

About Melissa
Melissa Huff is Co-Owner and COO of Lighthouse Storage Solutions, which she runs alongside her husband and business partner Josh Huff. Together they help self-storage owners and operators across the country strengthen their operations, revenue, and teams, with the company specializing in audits, consulting, third party management, training, drone photography, and marketing.
With nearly two decades in the industry, Melissa leads the operations side of the business, working hands-on with owners to tackle the real-world challenges of running a facility, from revenue management and staff training to collections, compliance, and everyday operations, whether through advisory consulting or full-service management of their properties. She recently teamed up with Haviland Storage Services to lead their third-party management operations.
Melissa is a regular contributor to Modern Storage Media and Inside Self Storage, where she writes on the operational topics that matter most to owners and managers. She co-hosts the Gabfocus Self Storage Podcast with Josh and enjoys speaking at national and state industry events. She's passionate about equipping operators with the tools and confidence to run smarter, more profitable facilities.

About Josh
Josh Huff is Co-Owner and CEO of Lighthouse Storage Solutions, which he runs alongside his wife and business partner Melissa Huff. Together they help self-storage owner-operators across the country grow their businesses, with the company specializing in audits, consulting, third party management, training, drone photography, and marketing.
With 18 years of marketing experience, working with self-storage companies of every size and stage, from brokers and builders to first-time owners and state associations, Josh leads the marketing and technology side of the business. He handles the customer-facing side of things, from websites and photography to graphic design and brand storytelling, always with the goal of helping operators stand out and connect with their customers.
Josh co-hosts the Gabfocus Self Storage Podcast with Melissa and produces podcast and video content for others in the industry. He's a familiar face on the conference circuit, speaking at the Inside Self-Storage World Expo and numerous state association events, and he and Melissa were recently featured on the cover of Messenger by Modern Storage Media. His current topics include practical DIY marketing for managers and balancing AI with the human touch in facility operations.
